On November 1st, the city of Johannesburg became the epicenter of innovation in construction equipment by hosting the launch of the new Dynapac CA50 model, a milestone coinciding with the brand’s 90th anniversary. This exclusive event, filled with technical presentations and live demonstrations, reinforced Dynapac’s position as a global leader in compaction and paving. CA50: Innovation and Efficiency in Compaction

The Dynapac CA50 is the latest addition to the brand’s range of soil compactors. Designed to tackle the challenges of the most demanding terrains, this model combines durability, efficiency, and advanced technology. With a high-performance compaction system and features that optimize productivity, the CA50 is ideal for large-scale infrastructure projects, road construction, and industrial developments.

The Dynapac CA50 is a vibratory single drum roller, designed for demanding applications in heavy construction projects. With an operating weight of approximately 15,130 kg, this equipment offers a compaction width of 2,130 mm, enabling efficient coverage over large areas. Powered by a Cummins 4BTAA3.9 II/T2 engine, the CA50 delivers a nominal power of 97 kW at 2,500 rpm, ensuring robust performance under various working conditions. The advanced hydraulic system includes a variable displacement axial piston pump and axial piston motors, providing precise and efficient control during compaction operations.

To enhance safety and efficiency, the CA50 incorporates features such as the Automatic Vibration Control (AVC), which automatically adjusts the vibration according to the terrain’s needs, and an emergency braking system with multiple safety discs on the rear axle and drum gear case.

This model is ideal for soil compaction in large infrastructure projects, such as road construction, dams, and airports, where the combination of power, efficiency, and durability is essential for operational success.
