TrevoTech Comercial took part in the German-Angolan Mining Event, an initiative that brought together companies, investors, and key stakeholders from the mining sector to discuss challenges, trends, and opportunities.

Throughout the event, TrevoTech Comercial reaffirmed its role as the official representative of renowned German brands and presented its tailored portfolio for the mining sector.

Liebherr

Within the Liebherr portfolio, TrevoTech Comercial represents mobile cranes (telescopic, rough-terrain, and all-terrain) and crawler cranes — key machines in heavy lifting and material handling operations across the mining industry.

• The LTM line (all-terrain mobile cranes) ranges from compact 2-axle chassis models to robust 9-axle cranes with high lifting capacities.
• Liebherr offers around 50 different mobile and crawler crane models, with telescopic or lattice booms, each designed for specific lifting applications and conditions.
• In the crawler segment, models with extremely high lifting capacities are available — for example, the LR 13000 is among the most powerful conventional cranes in the world, capable of lifting up to 3,000 tonnes and reaching heights of up to 236 metres.
• Liebherr’s advanced technologies — including VarioBase®, VarioBallast®, and the LICCON control system — ensure efficiency, safety, and adaptability even in the most demanding environments.

ASTRA

Astra is widely recognised for manufacturing robust trucks and off-road vehicles designed to perform in extreme mining and construction conditions.

• The HD9 range (Rigid and Tractor) offers multiple traction configurations — 4×2, 4×4, 6×4, 6×6, 8×4, 8×6 — ensuring high productivity even on challenging terrain.
• The HHD9 (Heavy Duty) family includes rigid and tractor versions with a gross vehicle weight (GVW) of up to 50 tonnes in 6×6 configurations and a gross combination weight (GCW) ranging from 120 to 250 tonnes, depending on the setup.
• Recently, Astra introduced the HDX generation, combining advanced technology, safety, and efficiency while maintaining the durability and strength of the traditional platform.
• These vehicles are ideal for ore transport, earthmoving, internal mine logistics, and heavy haulage between mining fronts.

ROKBAK

TrevoTech Comercial also represents Rokbak, a brand specialised in articulated dump trucks (ADTs), widely used in mining and off-road operations.

• The current highlights are the RA30 and RA40 models. The RA30 offers a payload of 28 tonnes (gross power approx. 276 kW, torque 1,880 Nm), while the RA40 carries up to 38 tonnes (gross power approx. 331 kW, torque 2,225 Nm). These specifications make them ideal for moving heavy loads over rough terrain with excellent fuel efficiency and ease of maintenance.
• Both models feature a retarder transmission system, adaptive drivetrain, and simplified maintenance, ensuring reliability and safety under harsh mining conditions.
• Rokbak emphasises that its ADTs are “built to perform day after day, decade after decade” — designed for durability and continuous heavy-duty use.
• In the mining environment, Rokbak articulated dump trucks allow for stable and efficient transport of ore and materials over uneven ground, steep gradients, and confined areas.

Ashok Leyland

Although Ashok Leyland is traditionally known for its range of commercial trucks, the brand also offers models that can be adapted for mining applications.

• The company’s portfolio includes tippers (dump trucks) and heavy-duty trucks for material transport, with configurations such as 6×4 and 8×4.
• A practical example is the AVTR 3532 8×4 Tipper, commonly used in extraction sites and for hauling raw materials.
• There are also adaptable off-road and heavy construction versions, depending on customer requirements — including reinforced chassis and suspension modifications.
